At Mount Vernon, we believe that we can get more done, learn more, and have more fun when we get together in groups. So outside of Sunday morning, there are lots of ways to get connected. All groups are open to newcomers.
Women's Circles
Our congregation has formed two Women’s Circles to provide a variety of meeting times and opportunities to serve: the Jewel Bryant Circle and Susanna Wesley Circle.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
The gift of a prayer shawl enables the recipient to be surrounded by prayer, and is a tangible reminder of God's care and love, encouragement, and inspiration.
Bridge Group
Bridge Group for church members and the community: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.- 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, Fellowship Hall.
