About Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church
Mount Vernon United Methodist Church has been in ministry to Jesus Christ and the community for over 136 years. We offer a traditional style of worship, using the United Methodist Hymnal with organ and piano music. Our four-part choir under the direction of Mrs. Carol Kendall delivers both traditional and praise anthems. We invite you to worship with us! Our prayer is that you may find a spiritual home where you can learn and grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

We seek to live and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to nurture persons of all ages and circumstances in discipleship, and to put our faith into service to others.
